Littelfuse EL731 (formerly the SE-50x)

by Littelfuse

Littelfuse came to us to create a new Visual Brand Language for implementing over a range of products acquired from purchased companies.  We were tasked with creating and applying this VBL to a Ground Fault Relay at the time referred to as the SE-50X.  My role was to work with Designers to create both the graphic assets and the Production ready CAD for the fascia part as well as contribute to the VBL development.

The EL731 is a microprocessor-based AC/DC Sensitive Earth-Leakage Relay that offers complete coverage for all frequencies from 0-6,000 Hz, and offers metering capabilities, password-protected alarm and trip settings and optional network communications. It is used to add low-level ground-fault protection to variable-speed drives, and to dc currents.

In addition to developing assets and CAD, developing the construction method and delivering the BOM was also very critical.
